Asia is the world’s largest and most populous continent, covering about 30% of Earth’s total land area. Asia is notable for not only its overall size and population but its dense as well as barely populated regions within the continent of 4.4 [?] billion people. Asia has exhibited economic as well as population growth during the 20th century, but overall population growth has since fallen to world average levels. Given its size and diversity, the concept of Asia may actually have more to do with human than physical geography. Asia varies greatly across its regions with regard to ethnic groups, cultures, environments, economics, historical ties and government systems.

Cambodia: John, Ashley and Luke Phifer

John, Ashley and Luke are serving in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

John currently serves with Hope International School as the Compliance Coordinator.  His role is in the administration side of the school and deals specifically with risk management, accreditation and child safety.  Hope’s mission is to support world missions by providing quality, Christ-centered educational services for families of Christian workers, in Cambodia.

Ashley is entering her tenth year serving at Logos International School and has just been appointed as the Early Years and Elementary Principal. Logos is dedicated to academic excellence in providing a well-rounded, quality, Christian education to students from all ethnic, religious and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Luke will be a 9th grade student at Logos International School.
