Europe
Europe: Hearts That Have Grown Cold
Europe is the world’s second-smallest continent, covering about 7% of Earth’s land area. Of Europe’s 50 countries, Russia is the largest and most populous. It’s the third-most populous continent after Asia and Africa, with a population of about 743 million or 11% of the world’s population. From the Renaissance forward, Europe played a predominant role in global affairs through colonialism. The Industrial Revolution, which began in the United Kingdom at the end of the 18th century, gave rise to radical economic, cultural, and social change in Western Europe, and eventually the wider world.

Greece: Brent & Kim Parrish
Through a research study conducted by Kim in 2017 and the Lord moving in the direction to establish a foundation of support (Eleos of the Craven Martin Foundation, a registered US non-profit) for those weary sojourners from war-torn countries, primarily Middle Eastern countries was established. Eleos helps to support local people on the ground-level serving Athens, desiring to see transformation through Christ. Eleos supports educational opportunities, a resource center in Athens for language, art, music, and well-being (Project for Art and Well-being – a registered Greek non-profit), and partners with local churches and other organizations in Athens. We covet your prayers for the Gospel to be shared in Athens and the restoration of these beautiful souls.
Brent and Kim spend time in Athens, Greece and Jackson, Mississippi and have three grown children and one grandchild: Samuel and wife Rachel, grandson Calvin, Claire and husband Joey, and John. In addition to the facilitation of the Eleos Initiative in Athens, Brent and Kim continue their work as sales representatives in packaging and online university instructors in the States.
