Short-Term Missions: Mike Jeanson

Mike Jeanson spent his career as a high school educator. He received his bachelor’s degree in Political Science at Mississippi State University, Masters in Teaching at Regent University and his Specialist in Educational Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi. He spent 28 years in education in various positions from 1993 to 2021 as a: History Teacher, Coach, TAGH-Grant Director, Administrator, Alternative School Director and Athletic Director—all at the high school level. Prior to this he was a co-director and outreach leader for Maranatha Campus Ministries from 1985-1989 on college campuses.  He has been an elder and teacher in his church for the past 25 years.

Currently, Mike enjoys teaching pastors at various IOM Ministry Training  Institutes in East Africa.  

He and his wife Sandy have been married for over 36 years. They have 2 children and 4 grandchildren.
